The Polycom ViaVideo is a new breed of USB device. Offering a simple to use and install system that fully leverages the power of the standard PC. After installation the target PC becomes a powerful videoconferencing solution providing videoconferencing connectivity of up to 384Kbps. This powerful system makes full use of it's hardware based CODEC giving a performance suitable for high quality corporate videoconferencing, giving a frame rate of up to 30 frames per second, as well as the high quality audio and video that has become synonymous with the Polycom brand name.
