i-CONTROL from IMS is a professional authoring tool for rich media presentations. The application's simple interface allows the easy synchronised combination of video, graphics, PowerPoint slides, images, Flash animations and text to create stunning rich media presentations. These can be in the form of 'on-demand' presentations from your website or exported to a CD.

Using a template, either a library standard or one custom produced using DESiGN-CONTROL, compelling rich media presentations are easily produced without the need for any HTML programming knowledge. Presentations are quickly produced by simply 'dragging and dropping' the images, slides, text, in their native format, onto the video clip timeline. This ensures that they will appear precisely at the desired point of the video presentation.

i-CONTROL can import native content from most common formats (AVI, MPEG1&2, WMV, JPEG, TIFF, GIFF) and automatically convert and scale these into web-compliant data formats. Time is saved as the application provides simultaneous output, in a variety of data rates, to both Windows Media, REAL and XML formats.

By combining templates, easy navigation and flexible presentation, i-Control ensures a high degree of flexibility coupled with significant realiability.

The application is ideal for producing rich media presentations for e-learning, e-commerce, product and company presentations on the Internet or distribution on a CD.

Each of the following Rich Media Presentations took us less than an hour to assemble from the required rich media components. Although we had the basic format completed in less than 15 minutes, the remainder of the time was spent in 'fine-tuning' the slide synchronisations to get the desired slide changes within 1/100 of a second. Once we were happy with the finished presentation, we exported it sumultaneously in both REAL and Windows Media formats. We only exported them to a single bandwidth speed but they could have been exported to multiple bandwidth settings for each media presentation format.

To get the full benefit of the presentation you will need to have a connection speed of 128Kb or better. If you have a slower connection, you should still be able to hear the presentations and see the slides, but the video may be a bit slow. If you want to use these products for your own applications, the presentations can be set to use slower connection speeds and correspondingly smaller video windows.
